Council has awarded a $43.4-million (plus HST) contract to Aquicon Construction Company Ltd. to build the community’s new twin-pad arena and library.

Members of Wasaga Beach town council, at a special meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, will consider a staff recommendation to award the twin-pad arena and library building contract to Aquicon Construction Company Ltd. at a cost of $43.4-million, plus HST.
Aquicon, following a pre-qualification process earlier this year, was one of five companies short-listed to bid for the construction contract.

Council members at a Committee of the Whole meeting this morning approved next steps in the redevelopment of town-owned land at the main beachfront.

Members of Wasaga Beach town council, at a Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday, May 20, will consider the next steps in the redevelopment of town-owned land at the main beachfront.
