Municipal Law Enforcement Officers enforce the Town's By-laws such as noise, clean yards, animal control, parking, open fires, fireworks and business licensing by proactively patrolling as well as responding to citizen complaints during the hours of operation. Our Animal Control Service mainly assists with dogs at large, and is on call outside of office hours for emergency purposes only. The Town does not deal with wildlife, however we do have resources that we can share if you come across injured or orphaned animals, or have concerns.
Complaints can be filed by the online portal regular mail or in person at the Town Hall Office. Phone complaints will only be accepted if the matter is urgent and requires immediate attention (i.e. fire and noise related concerns).
